First Friday Fiction-December 2017

First Friday Fiction-December 2017

While I focus on non-fiction here at One Book Blog, I thought that on the first Friday of each month, I would share some of the fiction I have been reading. My tastes are varied, but right now I'm reading mostly psychological thrillers.

I discovered Shalini Boland several months ago and binge-read everything she had to offer. My favorite of her books is The Best Friend, but The Secret Mother is her most recent book. It was really good and kept me guessing.

The Last Mrs. Parrish has been one of my favorite recently-read books. I got sucked into the story right away and did not want to put it down. And it had a very satisfying resolution.

In the past, I have tried other Laura Lippman books and don't remember liking them but this one was really good. It was so good, I'm willing to give Lippman's other books another try.

Kathryn Croft is another author I discovered earlier this year and have really been enjoying her back list. Silent Lies kept me guessing. I was pleasantly puzzled as to where the story was going and how it would end.

What fiction have you been reading lately? I'm always on the lookout for books to add to my TBR list.
